Meet me, an Irish photographer living in France, whose passions are as diverse as the landscapes I capture. While photography remains my foremost love, which allows me to immortalize moments of beauty and emotion, I also find great joy in the game of golf, appreciating the challenge and tranquility it offers. I shoot portraits and weddings and organize tours for both photographers and golfers.

Got a couch? Share it.
I'm not selling couchsurfing but...
Couchsurfing has a special place in my heart thanks to Ginger Miles, her cats, dogs and ggarden of wonders. Couchsurfing offers more than just a free place to stay—it opens the door to unforgettable experiences and real and quirky human connections. During my trip to Savannah I had the privilege of staying with Ginger Miles, a retired journalist whose personality was as colorful as it gets.
Ginger was part eccentric, part brilliant, and entirely welcoming. Living in a brocante, menagerie styled home with her lively terrier, Skyler, who had longer legs than usual and liked his comfort and my bed, I quickly realized that this was no ordinary stay. Ginger and friends createdan atmosphere that was relaxed and full of life, with cats, dogs, and even chickens sharing the space and the stories.
What made this experience truly special was the unexpected moments—the spontaneous conversations, the shared meals, and the stories that flowed freely. Ginger’s laissez-faire attitude and her quirky ideas made every day unique and memorable. It was a reminder that travel really isn’t just about places; it’s about the people (the craic) you meet and the stories you share.
Couchsurfing allows you to step outside the typical tourist experience and dive into real life, embracing the unexpected and celebrating individuality. It’s about opening your heart and mind to new perspectives, and sometimes, that means staying in an old trailer with a spirited terrier and a retired journalist who becomes a friend.
For anyone considering couchsurfing, I encourage you to take the leap. The connections you make and the experiences you gather will enrich your travels and your mind in ways you never imagined.Rest in peace my friend.
